Two men on Monday pleaded not guilty in the Pietermaritzburg High Court to the 2007 murder of a Wartburg couple who owned the popular Wartburger Hof Hotel in the Midlands.
Funokwakhe Ncwane, 42, and Muntukayise Ngubane, 35, a former employee at the hotel, elected not to disclose their defence.
They are alleged to have murdered Siegfried Schadle, 68, known as Siggi, and his wife Ingrid, 65, at the hotel, situated on the main road of the town.
